I usually don’t write reviews, but I had to after using these for 3 times.
I have been T1d for 27 years and moved to dexcom about 2 years ago. I love the product but had issues with it falling off my body. I tried skim tac and the and the patch from dexcom and patches from a few other leading brands.. eventually all started peeling on day 4 or 5. The reviews here are misleading. It was extremely easy to apply (yes by myself with no help) , extremely easy to remove (although other reviews made me a bit nervous about this) and stayed on for the WHOLE life of the sensor without moving an inch. Probably would have stayed longer if I didn’t remove it! I swim every day and this has been life changing for me!
Highly recommend!

I wanted to test the endurance of this adhesive patch so I did not swab the area of insertion with alcohol and I took baths with oils and everything. The patch didn’t even curl, there was no peeling or anything. I am so excited to NOT have to call Dexcom about my sensor coming off early. It adhered throughout the session. It is super thin and flexible. The only problems; the weird way to put it on and the slightly weird and painful way to take it off (less than medical tape, more than sim patches). It wasn’t too bad taking it off. I had to go slower than normal because it is do thin it is hard to get a grip unless you peel an edge off (like you are a jar and it is a nutritional fact). Overall I love it. I’m sticking with this brand.
A note: if it is too painful, curling the edge slightly and spraying the area between the removed part and your skin with something like Eaze Off (a adhesive bandage and tape remover or anti-adhesive) and slowly peeling in between spraying does help remove the adhesive patch with less pain.

Look, y’all, I was recommended these by some random guy I met hiking in Zion National Park. I tried them because he said they held on well, and LET ME TELL YOU. I’m an avid hiker, ex-professional mermaid, and busy mom, and I have never had to worry about my dexcom falling off again. NOT ONCE. IT’S INCREDIBLE. The trouble is getting it OFF AT ALL. Y’all want a demon sticker that will never release its monstrous hold on your mortal flesh? This. 10/10 Will buy again.
